Paris Museum Pass: Top 14 Must-Visit Cultural Spots
What is the Paris Museum Pass?
The Paris Museum Pass lets you visit over 50 museums and monuments. This includes places in Paris and nearby areas. The more sites you visit, the better value you'll get from your pass.
From experience, this pass is great for travelers who like busy schedules. For the 2-day pass, you'll need to visit 2-3 attractions daily to make it worthwhile. If you're staying longer, the 4-day pass offers better value—visiting just 1-2 attractions per day covers the cost. However, this pass isn't ideal if you prefer a relaxed pace or want to spend more time exploring each exhibit.
Keep in mind that while the museum pass lets you skip ticket lines, it doesn't provide fast-track entry. Popular attractions like the Louvre or Musée de l'Orangerie often have crowds and security checks. You'll still need to queue even with pre-paid tickets. Consider this if you're thinking about buying the pass solely to save time.
Important note: Children under 18 and EU citizens under 26 can enter most Paris museums for free. They do not need to buy the pass.
