Blanche Patine
Website
Blanche Patine is a quiet atelier devoted to the art of French tableware—specializing in Terre de Fer, a robust yet delicate ceramic produced in France from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. Founded by Cécile Viarouge, each piece is chosen with selective care—solid shades, floral motifs, and timeless form that feel less like plates and more like fragments of history reborn.
The showroom is appointment-only, lit gently, and styled like a living museum—plates stacked with reverence, vases in quiet assemblage, patterns intertwining as if arranging themselves into a collective portrait. When a cherished piece is cracked, Cécile applies kintsugi: lacquer meeting ceramic, gold tracing fractures into lines of beauty—each repair a narrative of resilience and restoration
