Gardens of Augustus
Perched above the Tyrrhenian Sea, the Gardens of Augustus offer one of Capri’s most cinematic views. Created in the early 20th century by German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp and later dedicated to Emperor Augustus, the terraced gardens unfold through stone paths, palms, and seasonal blooms overlooking the Faraglioni and the sinuous Via Krupp below. A dialogue between design and landscape, it captures the island’s geometry, color, and calm in perfect balance.
