Musée Rodin

Housed in a stunning 18th-century mansion and its surrounding gardens, the Musée Rodin offers an intimate look at the works of legendary sculptor Auguste Rodin. The museum, which opened in 1919, displays many of Rodin's masterpieces including "The Thinker," "The Kiss," and "The Gates of Hell" in both its indoor galleries and beautifully manicured gardens.

The property itself, the Hôtel Biron, served as Rodin's workshop from 1908, and the artist himself donated his entire collection to the French State on the condition that they turn the building into a museum dedicated to his work. Today, visitors can explore not only Rodin's sculptures but also his drawings, photographs, and personal art collection, including works by Van Gogh and Renoir.

The museum's garden, covering three hectares, is one of Paris's most tranquil spots, where bronze sculptures are thoughtfully placed among roses and trees, offering different perspectives as the light changes throughout the day.
